v Gregor Joos, managing partner

• From 2005 until 2008 Gregor was a partner at RBR Capital, advisor to two equity long short funds where he was in charge of investor relations and asset raising.
• From 1998 until 2000 Gregor worked as a lawyer at a Zurich law firm. From 2000 until 2005 Gregor was the legal counsel at Luserve AG in Lucerne, Switzerland (single family office) where he was in charge of supporting all legal aspects of alternative investments (due diligence etc.) for a very large portfolio of single manager hedge and private equity funds.
• Gregor participated in a number of alternative investments conferences as speaker, host or panelist. Gregor is a founder of the Swiss Hedge Fund Forum, an industry networking platform.
• Gregor Joos was born in the Engadine valley in Switzerland on May four, 1968. He grew up in Ticino, Russia and Brazil where he graduated from high school at the Swiss School in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He studied law and business administration at the universities of St. Gallen and Zurich. He graduated in 1993 with a master in law (lic.iur) from Zurich University. He was admitted to the Zurich bar in 1996. In 1998 Gregor earned a master of comparative jurisprudence degree (M.C.J.) from the New York University School of Law. In 2002 he received a doctorate degree in law (Dr. iur. magna cum laude) from Zurich University.
